Almost every computer user is familiar with the PDF document format and many people regularly 'PDF' their documents and email them to colleagues and clients. This course aims to reveal to users some of the key functionality available in this powerful and versatile application. The course firstly shows users how to view and navigate PDF files then moves on to look at the various ways of creating PDF files. It also shows how PDF documents can be enhanced by adding bookmarks, links and buttons, how to make changes to text and graphics and the creation of accessible PDFs.
The course is suitable for general computer users wishing to gain an insight into the potential of Adobe Acrobat.
This course assumes no previous experience of using Adobe Acrobat, just a reasonable level of general computer literacy.
Acrobat Advanced (1 day)
£590, plus VAT, for up to 10 delegates
Our Acrobat advanced course shows users how to create interactive forms, how to use Acrobat Distiller to customise and automate the creation of PDFs, how to use Catalog to create searchable indexes of multiple PDF files and how to repurpose Acrobat documents to create multi-media presentations complete with sound, video and animations.
It is suitable for users who have gained a basic familiarity with Acrobat either through self-tuiton or by attending an introductory course and wish to gain a deeper understanding of what can be achieved using Acrobat's more advanced features.
This course assumes some previous experience of using Acrobat and a general familiarity with the its tools and menus.
