This course covers the basics of word processing and gets delegates to the point where they can create and handle reasonably-sized documents. By the end of the course, attendees will feel confident about creating documents, entering, importing and formatting documents and inserting images, charts and tables.

The course is designed for anyone who wants to learn to use a word processor, create attractive documents then print, save and store them on a PC..

No previous experience of word processing or typing is required for this course although familiarity with the Windows operating system and use of the mouse and keyboard is essential.

Word Advanced (1 day)

Our Advanced Word course covers features relating to the creation and management of longer documents, customisation and techniques for increasing productivity such as style sheets and tables of contents.

The course is suitable for competent Word users who wish to extend their skillset by learning advanced tools and techniques.

Delegates should have attended the Introduction course or be competent Word users.

Word VBA Programming (2 days)

This two day course covers the automation of Word using macros and Visual Basic for Application (VBA) programming. Delegates will be shown how to write simple VBA code and assign their macros to screen items.

This course is suitable for Word users who, at intermediate or advanced level, want to learn how to speed up and automate their work (or other users' work) using macros.

No previous knowledge of VBA or of programming is required for this course.
